Betty and Tatiana Hart, a mother-daughter team, share their unique generational insights around the impact of female mentors. As women of color, they are familiar with the challenges of identifying female mentors who will “invest” in them. Together they will discuss their professional perspectives on mentoring best practices and how to build a sisterhood network for girls and women of all generations and cultures.
Community Women Empowered is a women’s professional networking organization that promotes the interests of working women in the community. We encourage, protect, and advance the welfare of women in the workplace and in the community through networking, collaboration, and education. We go beyond “women supporting women” because our empowerment should come from everybody supporting and uplifting women.
On the fourth Tuesday of each month, Community Women Empowered will host a speaker who will present on a certain topic. Open networking will be for the first 15 minutes of the meeting and announcements or questions will be made at the end of the meeting.
Community Women Empowered events are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 8:15 – 9:30 am at Railway Plaza Apartments, 507 Railway Dr, Naperville, IL 60563.
